My Timer is a simple countdown timer to let you know when a set period (one to ninety minutes) is up. My Timer is freeware.
When you first launch My Timer, you see the above window. On the left there is a up/down control to use to set the number of minutes. On the right there are displays to let you know how many minutes and seconds remain in the countdown. Two buttons control the operation.
Drag this window out of the way on the display.
Set the desired time and click on the "Start" button.
Above you see the User set the countdown time for 30 minutes and clicked on the "Start" button. The time remaining is 29 minutes and 43 seconds. At this point, the User can pause the countdown by clicking on the "Pause" button or let it countdown to zero.
Above you see the User paused the countdown at 29 minutes and 5 seconds. If the User clicks on the "Continue" button, the countdown continues. If the User clicks on the "Start" button, the countdown starts fresh with the period in the "Set Min" display.
If the countdown continues to zero, a "microwave" alarm is heard and the User sees the above display. The "microwave" alarm sounds every ten or so seconds until the "Time's Up" window is closed.
The window location and the Timer period are saved between sessions.
