Secret Message
Secret Message is compatible with Tiger, Leopard, Snow Leopard, Lion and Mountain Lion.

Brief Description:

Secret Message was developed to be used by children in their play. A "secret message" can be hidden in a "plain message" sent via email to their friends. Secret Message is freeware.

Mac Version 2.1.0 is compatible with Mountain Lion's default security and uses a new icon.

When the messages have been prepared, the user clicks on the "Save Message" button and a file titled "My Message.png" is created on the Desktop.

Next, the user prepares an email to his friend, adds a greeting line in the message text area and drags and drops the "My Message.png" file onto the email message text area below the greeting, and sends the email.

When Bob gets the email from his friend, he drags the image attachment below the greeting to his desktop. Then Bob launches the Secret Message program and clicks the "Load Message" button. Above you see that Bob has loaded the message and you can see the "plain message" in the bottom field. It is normal for the "secret message" to look "fuzzy."

When Bob moves his mouse over the "See Secret" box, he can see the "secret message". If he moves the mouse outside the "See Secret" box, the message disappears. To see the message again, Bob must reload the message and move the mouse over the "See Secret" box.

Clicking the 'Clear All" button clears all fields.

The position of the Secret Message window is saved between sessions.
