Prime Number Generator
Prime Number Generator is compatible with Leopard, Snow Leopard, Lion and Mountain Lion.
This utility will interest you if you like to work with prime numbers. It has two modes. Mode A finds primes starting at a number of your choice. Mode B finds all primes between a start number and a stop number. A "Stop" button lets you stop building the table if you make a mistake or change your mind. You can see the table change as it builds with the table scrolled to the bottom. The table displays the index, prime numbers, and gaps. Both fields go up to 9,999,999,999. You can select information in the table for copying to an application or file. To select the entire table, click on the top row, scroll to the bottom, Shift-click on the bottom row, and copy. The clipboard now has all of the table's data in the clipboard, ready to paste into TextEdit, Notes, or similar.
Version 3.0.0 (Mac and Win) expands the ranges, adds Gap information (difference between this prime number and the previous prime number), and lets you enter numbers with or without commas to make the numbers easier to read.
