Lottery Picks was written to assist picking of random lottery numbers. When you launch Lottery Picks you are presented with the window below. When you press the "Generate New Numbers" button you see five random numbers between one and 39 plus a Bonus Ball random number within this range. These are the picks needed to play the Maryland lottery. Every time you press the "Generate New Numbers" button, you get a new set of random numbers.
If you wish to pick numbers for a different lottery, click on the "Other Lotteries" button and you will see the window below. There are drop-down menus to select the number of picks (one to seven), the number range (from two to 75 in steps of one) and a check box to ask for a Bonus Ball number. The number range must be at least two higher than the number of picks. These choices allow you to get the numbers you need for the lottery of your choice. As for the first window, you can press the "Generate New Numbers" as often as you want and a new set of numbers will be displayed every time. You can also change the drop-down menus and "Include?" checkbox settings and the display will adjust accordingly. For example, the window below shows a set of numbers where seven numbers plus a Bonus Ball number are requested with a range of two to 75.
