Click Pro is compatible with Lion (10.7) and higher.
Click Pro was developed to help Users make manual or periodic screenshots of their main display. User can choose to make screenshots of the entire display or a portion of the display. Click Pro is compatible with Retina and Normal displays. Click Pro is $10 shareware. Click Pro has a Demo Mode that lets the User try the app for twenty minutes per launch. Click Pro quits after twenty minutes in Demo Mode.
When you launch Click Pro, you see the Click Pro Control Panel. Drag it somewhere out of the way on the display.
The top checkbox is used for automatic screenshots of the entire display. The bottom checkbox is used for automatic screenshots of a portion of the display. The automated time period can be set from one second to fifty-nine seconds in one second increments and then from one minute to ten minutes in one minute increments.
Above you see the User wants to take screenshots of the entire display every ten seconds.
Above, the User is preparing to take screenshots of a portion of the screen and checked the bottom checkbox.
A message is displayed, instructing the User to click on the top left corner of the desired screenshot, pause, and then click on the bottom right corner of the desired screenshot.
The User clicked on the OK button and then clicked on the top left corner of the desired screenshot. When the first dot turns red, Click Pro is indicating that it has accepted that point. If the first dot does not turn red, click on the same spot again.
The User then clicked on the bottom right corner of the desired screenshot. When the second dot turns red, Click Pro is indicating that it has accepted that point. If the second dot does not turn red, click on the spot again.
If the User changes his mind or wants to start identifying the screenshot area again, he can uncheck the bottom checkbox and then rechecks the bottom checkbox. Unchecking the bottom checkbox automatically unchecks the top checkbox if checked.
The User is now ready to set the period and check the top checkbox.
Manual screenshots (full or partial display) can be taken at any time by pressing the Option-Command keys.
The first time that Click Pro is launched, a folder titled "ClickProScreenshots is created in Users / ~ / Documents. Screenshots are saved in this folder. Screenshots are "png" images with titles formatted by Year Month Day Hours Minutes Seconds (hours displayed with 24 hours, not 12 hours with AM/PM). Computer time format: US Computer.
Manual screenshots may be taken with the Control Panel minimized.
The two sounds options are to hear a shutter click when screenshot is taken or stay quiet.
The Automated Period is saved between sessions.
Use VLC, not Apple's DVD Player, to view DVDs if the checkerboard pattern is displayed.
